To attract interest to the Asia Society and build membership, we created a web-based events calendar and email newsletter. We designed the calendar for ease of maintenance and ease of use: a flexible structure accommodates content generated from an existing database, and our interface design gives site visitors direct access to the content they want with location and category-sensitive search capabilities. And, should visitors crave regular updates, we provided the option to subscribe to a weekly email newsletter. The popularity of this feature is proven by 11,000 pleased subscribers - and counting! |
